Check out their new website at: http://www.youseemore.com/nilc/Grafton/

We are in a great location. If you are looking for big city activities, we are in easy driving distance to Mason City, Iowa; Rochester or Minneapolis, MN. Grafton is a safe community and a good place to raise kids. We are located in Worth County home of the Diamond Jo Casino and students receive yearly funds from the casino to buy school supplies. Last year it was $75 per student. In 2016, each high school graduate heading off to college received over $5,000. In addition to helping our young people, Diamond Jo Casino gives out grants twice a year which benefits towns in Worth County. Check out the new website for Worth County Development Authority at www.growworth.com for more information regarding grants. Grafton has received funds for a new tornado siren, new ball diamond fence, a work truck with a snowplow, generators, new rescue vehicle, new shelter house roof, depot repair just to name a few. This grant money gives Grafton a huge boost!

Community activities include: Summertime softball and volleyball leagues, Grafton Athletic Club and gym walking memberships, good area for riding bikes.

Our annual summer celebration is called Grafton Turkey Day and is held the 3rd Saturday of July. It includes a 5K walk/run, softball tournament, volleyball tournament, parade, kids games, musical entertainment, street dance, car show and other miscellaneous activities that vary from year to year and the best butter basted charcoal grilled turkey sandwiches you will ever eat.

The first Saturday of March is the date for the Adult Prom held at the Grafton Community Center. This is a great evening of fun for everyone over age 21. People come in formal prom attire, or “retro” prom attire, their Sunday best or even just in casual dress and enjoy an evening of dancing and libations and food. Every year has a different theme and the Community Center is beautifully decorated.
